Guerilla Art with Josie Beszant
Guerilla - not Gorilla!
The art of interruption - a space, someones thoughts, a viewpoint. Would you like to spend some time thinking about what positive change you would like to be in the world and acting on that through art? Your experience leader: Josie Beszant I have placed art in the environment for many years. I work as an artist and a gallery owner and have lived in Masham for over 30 years. I've taught workshops designed to open our minds and our approach to creativity for many years and I believe that all our lives can be enriched in many ways by accessing our own creativity. |

Guerilla Art is open to anyone with artistic ability or not. I will guide you through a unique experience and give you the tools to be a positive change in your chosen location.
We'll meet at The Happy House Masham, have a cup of something and look at a few samples of guerrilla art. What it's for, some basic guidelines and what we want to leave out in the world. You'll see some fantastic examples of guerrilla art all around the world and we'll discuss why and how people make it and how we can interact with our own home environment and the one in Masham. After this we'll make some work (don’t worry you don’t need to be an artist), take a walk and have the thrill of leaving artwork outside for others to find and interact with. You'll leave with a sense of how powerful guerrilla art can be - and how empowered it can make us feel, with a toolbox of great ideas to create and place your own artwork.
Your guerrilla art experience will include:
