Introducing the Ukulele with Ian Scott Massie
Would you like to learn a musical instrument that is small, portable, easy on the fingers and fun to play? The ukulele might be just what you need
Music has a heap of benefits: it makes your brain work in new, creative ways, it improves your coordination and it makes people happier.
I’ll teach you how to hold the instrument, tune it, strum it, we’ll play a some simple chords and then put them together to make a tune.
The ukulele is easy to play and, if you’ve ever played guitar, it’s simple to transfer those skills. It’s a good starting point for playing other fretted instruments but it’s also a terrific instrument in its own right.
